I try and make the process as easy as possible. The best way to ensure a product that you love is for us to be in communication. So please reach out if you have any questions.

INITIAL CONTACT
The first step is to reach out to me at info@prestoncottrell.com with what you have in mind. Every project is different, so it might take a few emails or a phone call to get what we need for the project. During this stage, you can also send some pictures that I will likely use for the drawing. The higher the resolution and detail, the better. I can send some information about what makes a good picture for my purposes. This step is free and no obligation.

DEPOSIT
If you decide to hire me for the project, I will send an invoice outlining the scope of the project. A 50% deposit is needed to cover my initial time and materials. I do not generally produce process photos, but in the final stages, I will send a watermarked scan of the image to get your input and see if any alterations need to be made. It also allows me to ask important design questions concerning color and certain details if needed before completion.

Final approval
When you approve the final follow-up image, you can pay the remaining balance and I will quickly ship the finished drawing to you!

Once your item is received, I recommend putting it in a quality mat and frame. This adds protection for the artwork, as well as a suitable professional touch to match the space where it is hanging. At this time, I do not offer framing services, but can offer advice if needed. I also will reach out to make sure you are pleased and the order arrived safely.
